The Horse Farm - Located in New Braintree, MA, this is private property we use courtesy of one of our members and his family. What we have here is a really fun ride in the woods, nothing too crazy. Small stream crossings, some light rock work, fun hills and switchbacks. Also, there's some really challenging rock ledges and outcroppings if you want to run a little harder. This beautiful property is fun for any member in the club who's 4x4 meets the minimum club requirements for trail rides. The group can wheel together on green trails while some people keep it on the easy side of things and others can be more daring on the ledges and the optional loop we lengthened in 2017.
We only get a few opportunities to run this trail. It is a lot of fun.
We meet at 9 a.m. Full details are sent to those that RSVP, via confirmation email.
There's trailer parking a quarter mile or less from the trailhead.
Don't forget cameras, lunch, non-alcoholic beverages, proper attire for the weather, protection from bugs and ticks.

Massachusetts OHV Registrations
Massachusetts laws, Chapter 90b, require vehicles operated for recreation off-road or on unimproved roads, on public and private property, to be registered as awa wowan ATV through the Massachusetts Environmental Police Bureau of Registrations.
Mohawk 4x4 Adventures does not require members to have this completed to participate at this time, but we do highly recommend it. You may be subject to tickets by law enforcement without it and could be ticketed. This is your responsibility to be legal when off-roading in w Massachusetts.
Registration is easy to complete by mail, as long as your rig meets the requirement of a valid street registration in your home state. Some registrations require an exemption of sales tax form is submitted along with your vehicle registration. This just proves that you have paid sales tax if it was required and the vehicle is not stolen. Our club does require proper registration in your state, so it should be a straightforward process now.
You receive two decals for your vehicle with your registration number, one expiration date, and a card you must carry with you that is your permit.
